Bliss 002_Site Structure Study

Site Structure – Once the overall concept is set, I need to start thinking how to build the idea out. First, I start thinking from a product design’s perspective. As a product, the structure should be portable and easily fits in any environment whenever it goes. There are a lot of shape studies; however, I couldn’t convince myself with the shape of the structure and also have no idea of how to construct the shape out. Eventually, I dropped the product idea and re-think in architectural perspective.

I have been always interested in environmental/experience design, which it gave me an idea of why don’t I just use the existing environment I have, ITP, to build the structure? A corner space of ITP floor is my site, and I need to fully use the benefit of the space to make people come in to the space and feel “BLISS”.

Basically, the idea is to bring outdoor to indoor; bring the experience back from the busy corner and transform it to a leisure environment. I want to be able to bring back viewers’ memory, childhood memory and imagination.
